The layout for the Jumeirah Park 5 Bed and 4 Bed villas does allow room for various types of upgrades, improvements and modifications. We have spoken with several owners who have already begun working on plans for re-designing parts of their homes. This can help to add extra value to the villas and their overall attractiveness, which will also be useful for future sales and leasing purposes.

REMEMBER to get official permission in writing from Nakheel before proceeding with any structural changes to your Jumeirah Park villa! They will need to approve any changes to ensure that they are legal and comply with the community standards. Our understanding is that applications for home modifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis and various costs will also apply during the process.

We have briefly summarized a few ideas that we have discussed with Jumeirah Park residents and will expand upon them in future articles.

- Upstairs family room converted into a fifth bedroom in the 4 Bed villas

- Making the kitchen area a closed room; by separating from the living area through adding new internal walls

- Upgrading the kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, units and appliances

- Extending the downstairs living space to include the outside loggia area (or as an additional room like a conservatory)

- Upgrading the internal and external light fixtures and fittings

- Upgrading the bathroom sanitary ware, wall tiles and flooring

- Swimming pool extension, outdoor hot tub installation and external shower area

There are plenty more imaginative ideas for the interior and exterior designs to Jumeirah Park villas; we are sure that Jumeirah Park residents will come up with some great concepts as they become settled in their new homes!
