Nakheel announced today that they would be holding a Jumeirah Park plots auction at their sales office on Wednesday 26th February 2014. According to press reports in Arabian Business the plots will be around 8820 sq ft in area size. The auction will begin at 11am and potential participants can register today with a AED 1000 registration fee.

 

If the current trend of launches is anything to go by, we expect the Jumeirah Park plots will completely sell out during the auction. Investors and end-users know that land is becoming scarce close to Sheikh Zayed Road so these villas should always be in demand whatever the market conditions. Developers are currently launching projects close to Al Khalil Road, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Emirates Road as Dubai grows outwards and further into the desert to cope with the increasing demand and population growth.

 

Approximately 1795 villas have been completed and handed over in Jumeirah Park, while almost another 800 are under construction with expected handovers in 2015 and 2016. Once fully completed the Jumeirah Park community will be home to around 3000 villas. Additionally, the Jumeirah Park community centre will offer residents in and around the community a place to shop, dine and socialise. The internal fit out is in process and the opening is expected for mid-2014.
