Construction work for the new off plan villas launched by Nakheel in October 2012 is being carried out by two separate contracting companies. Arabtec are responsible for the 134 Four Bedroom villas in Package 5A, while SS Lootah Contracting are developing the 247 Five Bedroom villas in Package 1A, the area close to the current 5 Bed Legacy and Regional villas. The reported combined value for these contracts is AED 500 million to develop all 381 villas in the two packages.

It is encouraging to see renewed confidence in Nakheel from major contracting companies and the future looks promising for the Jumeirah Park community. New tenants and homeowners have been moving into their villas since the third and fourth quarters of 2012, as the 5 Bed and 4 Bed villas were handed over by Nakheel.

Many of the 3 Bed Large and 3 Bed Small villas are now completed and the word in the market is that the first of the 3 Bed Small and Large villas will be handed over soon.
