Jumeirah Park on target for 2013 handover completion

18th September 2013

By the end of 2013 every villa in Jumeirah Park should have been handed over to their owners; with the exception being those that were launched in the past year in Packages 1A, 5A and 7. For those owners who purchased their Jumeirah Park villas during the boom years of 2006 to 2008 it has been a long wait and a test of patience at times. However, that wait is finally coming to an end and owners will now be able to enjoy living in their homes, renting them out to produce an income or perhaps selling them on for those who want to cash in. Dubai's property market continues to attract investment both locally and internationally, so the demand continues to be strong in the prime location villa communities like Jumeirah Park.

The communal landscaping as you enter from the JLT side of Jumeirah Park has really flourished in the past months and has vastly improved the overall feel to the area. There is still plenty of work to be done with the parks that are located within each package, but once completed they will provide a nice area for children to play and neighbours to meet with each other. Work is also progressing well on the Jumeirah Park community centre, another positive for the residents to look forward too. Once it opens this will be a convenient place to shop for groceries and socialise with other residents.

Over the next two to three years Nakheel will continue constructing additional 5 Beds in Package 1, the new style of smaller 4 Beds in Package 5A and the 4 Bed Legacy Nova villas in Package 7. These villas are currently available with a premium in the secondary market and give people the option to invest through a payment plan during the construction phase.
