Last night the Dubai story took another positive step forward with the announcement in Paris that the host city for the Expo 2020 would be Dubai! This is a magnificent achievement for such a young city, especially when the competition came from other strong and vibrant countries such as Russia, Brazil, and Turkey. Dubai’s bid was based on ‘Connecting Minds, Creating The Future’ with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of bringing the world together to collaborate and advance forward in unity.

 

The Expo 2020 victory for Dubai means villa communities like Jumeirah Park will continue to flourish in the future. The Expo 2020 site will be located in the Jebel Ali area meaning that Jumeirah Park will be among the villa communities that are within 15 – 20km distance of the exhibition venue.
